The match
The right relationship has to work on both sides.
We screen the business, review the license, and put the role, oversight, compensation, and expectations on the table before anyone files.
01 / Business owners
You have work to win. We help establish the licensing path.
We map the classification, entity, and qualifier requirements around the business you actually intend to run, then identify a licensed professional prepared to participate.
Real roles. Clear expectations.California construction licensing structured to hold up.
The process
The working relationship comes before the application.
California requires direct supervision and control. We build the operating relationship first, then move the paperwork.
01
Review the business
We review the entity, classification, ownership, location, timing, and operation you intend to run.
02
Match the experience
We identify and vet a licensed professional whose background, availability, and expectations fit the role.
03
Define the working role
Both sides align on duties, supervision, control, compensation, and documentation before filing.
04
File and follow through
We organize the application, coordinate responses to CSLB notices, and support onboarding through issuance.
Services
Licensing first. Business infrastructure when you need it.
The qualifier match and CSLB application are the core engagement. Additional services support the business before and after the license issues.

How we operate
No passive qualifiers. No rented numbers.
A qualifier must take an active role and exercise the direct supervision and control California law requires. Build Right Partners facilitates legitimate matches, application support, and business coordination.
We are not CSLB, a law firm, an insurer, or a guarantee of licensure.
Know what the relationship requires before you commit.
Every classification, entity, and qualifier relationship is different. General information only—not legal advice.
Q01
What is an RMO or RME?
An RMO is a responsible managing officer who serves as the qualifying individual for a corporation or LLC. An RME is a bona fide employee who serves as the qualifier and must satisfy CSLB employment and active-involvement requirements.
Q02
Does finding a qualifier guarantee a license?
No. CSLB controls every licensing decision. We help build a legitimate match and an organized application, but approval, timing, exams, fees, bonds, and additional requirements remain subject to CSLB review.
Q03
Can someone simply rent a license number?
No. California requires the qualifier to exercise direct supervision and control. Build Right Partners does not arrange passive license renting or paper-only relationships.
Q04
Can licensed professionals join the network?
Yes. We welcome active and recently inactive California license holders. Eligibility depends on license status, classification, employment, ownership, entity structure, and CSLB rules.
Talk to a person
Prefer to talk it through?
Call or email the licensing desk directly. If you are not sure what to ask for, the guided path will organize the facts before the conversation.
